South-Australian artist Leanne works primarily with copper, steel and recycled metals, creating sculptural pieces and wall hangings hand cut through traditional metalworking techniques. She uses both Oxy-Acetylene welding and brazing, as well as MIG Welding and Plasma cutting to form each of her unique, distinct pieces. Her works are sustainable, gathering parts in second-hand stores and metal recyclers to form her subjects inspired by Australian natural life including flowers and animals. The term Verdigris Metalwork derives from the ‘patina or ‘verdigris’ that develops on copper, naturally forming the vibrant green hues evident in her works.

Alexandra is a Hong Kong based artist that incorporates elements of spirituality into her abstract pieces. Using her experience as a certified Sekhem energy master, she utilises her understanding of energy to create textured, mixed media works. The layers are infused with sand, clay and other natural minerals, as well as segments of pure essential oils that instil relative energy frequencies into each work. Mixed with paint, the organic materials permeate through the work, resulting in a tranquil and meditative piece suitable for any space.

Nicholas is a contemporary artist that uses an array of textures and colour schemes to portray memories of his time in Brazil. His recent series, Favela, highlights these inspirations through the interpretation of ‘shanty towns’ depicted on a base of bitumen. His works also incorporate gold leaf regularly, particularly to the windows to mimic the idea of indoor lighting being present. Such details evoke a sense of community and nostalgia from his hometown, an essential aspect of his subject matter which aim to convey to viewers an insight of the artist's background.
