In succession of last year's exhilarating exhibit, the ‘Women in Art 2024’ exhibition will commence in celebration of International Women’s Day 2024 to showcase talented emerging and established artists. To highlight the significance of women’s achievements through art, the exhibit aims to raise awareness within gender discrimination through elevating the visibility of women creatives. Run by an all-women gallery team with leading gallery director and international award-winning artist Shazia Imran, the team is greatly passionate about the importance of noting women’s influence and capabilities within a creative industry. By displaying a new collection of female artists, we hope to support and motivate female artists on a monumental scale.
This group exhibition is open for international applicants also.
Application Fee: $25 non-refundable. There will be no additional fees for the exhibition for selected applicants.
Entries Open: 22nd January 2024
Entries Close: 23rd February 2024 Midnight
Successful entrants notified: 26th February 2024
Delivery of artworks: 1st - 5th March 2024, Between 10am - 5pm
Exhibition Dates: 8th - 22nd March 2024

Directed by international award-winning artist Shazia Imran, the newly established gallery opened its doors in late 2022 known prior as the Former Coroner's Court, a significant Sydney heritage site. The gallery aims to support local, national and international artists that are primarily Sydney based to extend Sydney art cultures and influences in a professionally curated space.
Shazia is an established gallery director and international artist that specialises in mixed media pieces. Most notably, her 'Mandala' Collection has won numerous prizes including the Florence and London Biennale, as well as being acquired as investment pieces throughout Hong Kong and Singapore.
