Artwork Requirements
Artists are invited to submit works of any subject matter in alliance with medium, size and price limitations in the terms and conditions. Artists may submit as many works as they like but will need to submit separate application fees for each work. The exhibition will include original artworks from female artists of emerging and established backgrounds worldwide.
Artworks will be selected on the following factors:
Originality, creativity, concept, technique, marketability, compatibility with curatorial rationale and our audience.

The Fine Print
- Entrants can submit multiple artworks each with a non-refundable $25 entry fee applied for each submission.
- Women applicants only.
- Original artworks only - no prints or reproduced works.
- This exhibition is open to emerging and established artists worldwide.
- Can be submitted in mediums of painting, drawing and sculpture.
- Artwork title, medium, size and price must be submitted on the application form.
- A 30% commission by the gallery will charged on sales including GST.
- All works must be for sale.
- All works must be ready to hang. Sculptures excluded.
- Artworks must not exceed 100 x 100cm including framing.
- Successful applicants must sign an artist agreement outlining artist and gallery's rights and responsibilities.
- Artist payments for sold artworks are finalised within 30 days after the end of the exhibition.
- Unsold work will be organised for pick-up one week after exhibition closing.
- Artist name and title of work must be written on the back of the work itself for clear identification. Unlabelled works will not be accepted for the exhibit.
- Artworks must be delivered on the set date ready for display. This includes hanging attachments and framing which is the responsibility of the artist to organise.
- Works that are shipped is the responsibility of the artist. This includes shipment packaging and costs.
- All photographs taken by AAD Gallery team are the property of the AAD Gallery and may not be used for commercial purposes. Images are only to be used for social media accounts to promote this exhibition only. All images must credit the AAD Gallery when sharing online.
- Gallery staff will tend and host the gallery. Please let us know of any conditions regarding work in advance.
- The Gallery is open as per the official times 7 days a week.
- The selection decision of the AAD Gallery curatorial team is final and no correspondences will be accepted.
- Artwork insurance must be supplied by the artist for each submitted work.
- Unsold works must be collected 22nd - 25th of March 2024. Works collected on the 22nd of March must be during 4pm - 6pm. Collections on other dates must come during gallery opening hours from 10am - 5pm. Delivery and shipment will be the artists responsibility including packaging.
- International artists must organise return of works including shipment.
Inclusions
- Exhibition of selected artworks in gallery space.
- Curation and installation by AAD Gallery curatorial team.
- Staffing of gallery by AAD Gallery team.
- Promotions across all available digital platforms; newsletters, Instagram, Facebook, website.
- Artwork and exhibition photographed by the gallery.
Gallery Space
The AAD gallery space offered for artists is the prime space of Gallery 2 and 3, located at the east side of the Shazia Imran Gallery. Works will be exhibited alongside other featured artists and Shazia Imran's works. We may have additional spaces in future. Please see our updates on our social media, newsletter or emails.
