"Not content to settle on any one style, my paintings cover a wide array of subject matter in a contemporary manner. I paint mostly with acrylics but love to use mixed media to add an element of surprise inviting the viewer to explore the painting in more detail

I draw inspiration from my everyday surroundings but quite often start a painting with no subject in mind allowing the process of applying paint and the resulting marks made guide and direct me to the final piece." - Bronwyn Barton
