Kristine Ballard

Sydney based artist, Kristine Ballard is a fauvist at heart. Saturated colour and strong movement drive her unique style of painting called ‘Fragmatism’.
Specialising in semi-abstract still life and landscape paintings her images float, dissolve and fragment across the canvas in radiant colour. Beauty is often camouflaged.

Ballard has exhibited both nationally and internationally. She has completed many Art Residencies including stays at the prestigious Art Students League of New York, in Venice and Fiji, and at Monsalvat in Victoria, Australia’s oldest art colony.

Ballard shares her passion for creative discovery and colour by teaching and educating others in fine art through art functions, presentations and art mentoring. Experienced presenter of EDTV, she believes everyone deserves the chance to live ‘bright beyond beige’.
